An Ethiopian variety named after the town of its origin. Rare, floral, and intensely complex.

More information about our Wush Wush Variety Coffees collection.

Wush Wush is an Ethiopian heirloom varietal, known for developing complex, floral characteristics when farmed at altitude. It's relatively rare in commercial specialty coffee, which makes coffees grown from this varietal worth seeking out. When you find Wush Wush coffee grown with care, you get access to something distinctive and genuinely different from conventional varieties.

The challenge with Wush Wush is that it requires altitude, attention, and skill. Producers who work with it are usually people committed to their craft and to exploring what their coffee can become.

Paola and Carlos Trujillo's competition-grade washed Wush Wush is currently available, showcasing what this varietal becomes when grown with deliberate attention and processed with competition-level precision at Finca Patio Bonito.
