Are you a fan of cold brew coffee and searching for the perfect beans to make it at home? We've sampled all of our coffees using various brewing methods and have selected two particular coffees that we believe bring out amazing flavors when using the cold brew method. This selection of beans is excellent for brewing a cold, refreshing glass for the warmer months!

Anny Ruth • Yellow-Honey-Processed Red-Bourbon from Loma La Gloria

chocolate wafer - This coffee presents a general cocoa profile made dynamic with some hints of nuttiness, thus making a wafer that perfect combo of a flavor note.

cream - The smoothness of this coffee stood out amongst the other coffees we had on the cupping table.

apple - Amongst the predominantly sweet and earthy notes, we tasted a touch of fruited sweetness that we felt was best described as a subtle apple note.

Petronilo de Jesús Martínez • Natural-Processed Maragogype from El Aguacatal

melon - We were impressed with the fruited sweetness that came out in this cup. Loads of deliciously subtle fruited notes that we feel “melon” speaks to accurately. Almost no acidity sits in this cup at all, extremely clean and soft spoken.

milk chocolate - A clean Guatemalan terroir will always bring some cocoa into the fold of the profile and although it was certainly present, the smoothness of the cup was so prominent that we thought tying a cream-related note to the description was necessary.

peach - We wanted to put two very subtle and sweet fruits in our notes to bring a couple ideas together: 1. that this coffee is fruit forward 2. this coffee isn’t acidic, it’s just nice and smooth/sweet. Peach has a traditional delicate stonefruit sweetness with slight jammy notes that we would say describes the profile well.
