Candy and treats are always associated with Halloween, but I think that coffee can be a great addition to your Halloween festivities. There are so many ways to drink coffee, and since great quality coffee is readily available, enjoying a great cup of coffee hot or iced is so easy. If you’re like me, drinking caffeinated coffee in the evening keeps me awake. For a long time, a good decaf coffee was tough to find, if not completely impossible. But gone are the days of bad-tasting decaf. With the Swiss Water Process and the Sugar Cane process, you can enjoy decaf coffee without giving up the flavor. I prefer the Sugar Cane process. The Swiss Water process produces coffee with great taste, and you can be sure that the coffee is 99% decaffeinated.

Get Creative With Your Halloween Candy

Let’s get back to talking about coffee and Halloween. My kids love coffee, so I try to be careful to limit how much they have. Last Easter, we melted Cadbury Eggs into their half cup of coffee, and then we added some milk. It was too sweet for my taste, but they loved it. We liked it so much, we decided to try it with Halloween candy. We melted some Milky Way with our coffee this time, and it was delicious. It wouldn’t be something I would drink for my morning coffee, but it was fun to do with my kids, and I will do it again when I want to have more of a coffee dessert drink. Doing this with my kids got me thinking of other recipes that might be good for Halloween. Here are some suggestions.
