Here at Sagebrush Coffee, we offer a variety of coffee beans that are ideal for different brewing methods. After roasting and cupping, certain beans stand out as perfect choices for our espresso. Although suitable for any brewing method, we particularly recommend these two coffee beans for those using an espresso machine at home.

La Cumbre • La Esmeralda • Washed Catuai from Costa Rica

dark chocolate - This coffee has a tasty boldness with a chocolate-forward flavor. We really enjoy the smoothness of the coffee as well. Thus, we felt rich dark chocolate would best describe the primary notes we're picking up.

orange zest  - There is a touch of perceived citric acid that we pick up and feel that orange zest describes it well due to its lack of sugar content or extremely high level of acidity.

peanut butter cookies - Behind the boldness lies a nutty sweetness that we believe was most helpfully described with Nutter Butters. It's a strangely specific note for a very general taste, but we think it helps tie in that sugary backend with some of those peanut-like roasted notes.

Bella Vista • Camas Africanas • Washed Bourbon from Guatemala

milk chocolate - That classic Guatemalan earthiness we love takes center stage here, but with a much smoother and sweeter nuance.

green tea - Although not explicitly tasting like green tea, we found a noteworthy delicate aromatic twist to this complex bean that distinguishes itself from your average coffee from Guatemala.

lychee - This cup is very sweet, we feel lychee captures the idea of fruited sugar with no real distinct taste and little to no acidity, which describes the sweetness of this cup very accurately.
