Bright acidity, clean body, and a character all its own. Tanzanian lots are a great introduction to East African coffee.

More information about our Tanzanian Coffee Beans collection.

Tanzania produces coffee across different regions and altitudes, each with distinct terroir characteristics. The country is known for coffees with balanced complexity, clean processing, and natural sweetness. Tanzanian peaberries especially are prized for their concentrated flavor and distinctive character.

Tanzania's coffee farming community has invested in quality and consistency. The coffees that come from the country carry that commitment, tasting clear and complete. Mount Meru and other high-altitude regions create conditions where coffee naturally thrives.

Currently available are coffees from two Tanzanian sources: the Luyombe Washing Station and Sambewe AMCOS, each bringing washed lots with clean character and balanced sweetness from their regions.
