Coffee from the continent where it all started. Ethiopian heirlooms, Kenyan cooperatives, Tanzanian peaberries.

More information about our African Coffee Beans collection.

Africa’s coffee regions produce some of the most distinctive, complex coffees in the world. The continent’s diverse terroirs, altitudes, and processing traditions create flavor profiles that can range from bright and wine-like to earthy and grounded. We source directly from producers and washing stations across the continent, building relationships that ensure fair compensation and consistent quality. Each lot tells the story of its origin, its farmer, and the careful work that brought it from cherry to green bean.

Our African coffees come from the highlands where altitude and volcanic soil work together to create concentrated flavors and natural sweetness. The washed and natural process coffees we select are chosen for their ability to express terroir clearly, without intervention. We roast them light to medium to let those distinctive regional characteristics shine through.

Right now our African selection features coffees from Ethiopia and Tanzania, including naturally processed lots with stone fruit and floral notes, and washed peaberries with bright berry acidity. These are coffees that reward a slower cup and patient attention.
