brown sugar - This coffee has a very balanced sweetness that you’ll catch in the majority of specialty-grade coffees from Colombia. 

strawberry - What makes this profile unique is what a gesha variety brings into the mix. The light, malic acidity, and floral essence come together in a developed unique cup.

hibiscus - Hibiscus is obviously a flower, which conveys that floral element we want to communicate, but it also brings a unique acidity that we picked up in cup as well.

about Finca La Estrella Coffee Sourcing

This coffee was sourced by Sagebrush at the Colombia Best Cup competition. It was not eligible for the Best Cup, because it was a Gesha coffee. However, when Matt and Noah took their combined ratings of every coffee they judged during this trip it had the highest combined rating, so they made a silent auction bid and grabbed the entire lot. We're super excited to be able to offer this coffee.
